I’m Vixon. I adore travelling. And I adore beer. Put them together and what do you get? Bippity boppity… okay no, you get Beers and Bon Voyage.

As a child and teen, my parents would take me all over and I knew how lucky I was. As an adult, I now have an insatiable appetite for travelling and I’d consider myself a bit of a foodie. It’s my dream to visit every country in the world and whilst I don’t claim to be an expert or know the ‘Best Places To Go’ or ‘Top Ten Places You Must Visit’, I hope you still find my insights useful, informative and just plain old amusing for your own travels.

I’ve been trying beers since I was legally old enough to drink, and possibly a bit before that too. I tend to prefer lighter beers such as blondes and pales although not overly hoppy beers. Simplicity is my jam, but nevertheless with something going on. There are some rubies I can get my teeth into, although I’m mostly not into porters and certainly not stouts. Furthermore, sours can take a running jump, in my overall opinion (prove me wrong), and get away from me with your fruity milkshake whatchamacallits. Again, prove me wrong.

By and large, I keep a journal of new beers I try and I love taking photos of them. I could happily be found in an ‘old-man’s’ pub trying new beers, cask or keg, trying a new restaurant or even better, exploring a new location, country, continent, world! Read my blog posts for more!
